Find
a Note Fretmarkers
- A precision note marking system for the guitar fretboard. Each
set includes a full 24 fretmarker decals, and a nut marker to show
the notes of the open strings.
- Over
35 popular guitar models were used for the precise digital measurement
of note spacing on their fretboards. Long, medium, and short scale
lengths were included. Classical and acoustic guitars were measured
as well. The result is a decal set that fits every 6 string guitar
perfectly. (and can be trimmed for bass and other stringed instruments)
This
precision decal set uses 2 different layers of crystal clear plastic,
with the notes between the layers. There are reasons for this..
- The
bottom layer is a clear plastic formula made to adhere smoothly
to wood fretboards with a special adhesive. This adhesive will
hold them on a wood fretboard indefinitely, and will come off
cleanly with the decal when removed.
- The
top layer is a different plastic, formulated for its resistance
to abrasion. -It will not wear through. The satin finish on this
layer is designed to make the decal almost invisible, to let just
the notes be seen.
- The
notes are small and subtle. They are not distracting and can be
left on for years.. (Because they are between the layers, they
will never fade or wear off.) The notes are "fretwire silver"
in color to match any fretboard, including Rosewood, Maple, Ebony,
and all exotic woods.
We
designed these sets to put all the notes in front of your eyes and
under your fingertips. We did not design some strange new learning
system to go with this set. (as some others have tried to do) We
have found that it is best just to play the guitar with the notes
on it. You will subconsciously learn all the notes in a very short
time. You will be amazed at how your fretboard understanding will
expand as this happens.
